Playdate

Today the boy's and I had a playdate with Elizabeth and Gretchen's children at our house! As usual, we had a wonderful time. Lot's of playing, giggling, eating and sledding, just the big kid's of course! We look forward to our next playdate, hopefully we can include the hubbies next time!!

Good until the last drop!

As you all know I have taken a year off from work to stay home with Nathan and Brady. My time is winding down, 2 weeks from today I have to report back to work. I have mixed emotions, on one hand the break will be nice (especially for my back), but at the same time I am going to miss spending all my day's with them and watching them grow. I am so grateful that I was able to spend an entire year with them and experience so many first's. I feel Jon and I have given them a really good start in the world and I think they are at the age that some socialization will be great. As I embark on this next chapter I only have positive thoughts in my head, I am going to enjoy every moment with them to the fullest because next thing I know they will be sitting behind the driver's wheel getting lessons from Dad! Ugh...

I took these pictures of the boy's yesterday. I thought I would dress them up and have some fun! Nathan is in the cream outfit.

Overnight Sensation!

Saturday morning we embarked on our journey to CT to visit Jon's family for Turkey Day. I have to post some photos because a certain Grampy was feeling left out of the blog :>) We all had a great time! Jon's parents were there and his Aunt Carol, Cousin Sarah, Uncle Lester, another Aunt Carol, Sister Leigh and our B I L Brent. We spent Saturday relaxing and being mesmerized by the boys playing with all of Jon's old toys. Yes, you heard me correctly, his mother saved all of their toys for 30 years!!! That evening Kathy wowed us with a great turkey dinner and some yummy desert, which put us all in a food coma and off to bed early (well really only me of course!!) We headed out the next morning with fond memories of Turkey Day Belated 2007!!

Snip-its

Today my mom and I took the boy's to get their first haircuts at Snip-its, which is a children's salon out by the mall. The boys did great and now they look so handsome! After haircuts we went and had pictures taken with Santa!!
