Jon and I attended the Shaw Halloween Party and it proved so be spooktacular. As always the costumes were AMAZING, the band was fabulous and the entertainment was dazzling. Jon was Rex Quando from Napolean Dynamite and I was a soccer player, not very exciting compared to what was there, but hey it was free! I will let the pictures speak for themselves!!

Rust Road Pumpkin Carving!!
Today we went to a pumpkin carving party at our neighbor's house. There were spooky costumes, great food and fun people. The boys opted not to wear there costumes, but they still had a lot of fun looking at all the other kiddos running around in their's! Jon carved Nathan and Brady some pumpkins, a ghost and a bat and they are sitting on display in the dining room!! Happy Halloween!!! Brady in blue and Nathan in red.

The Knight Wedding
Jon and I were lucky enough to have a night to ourselves this weekend. While my parent's watched Nathan and Brady, Jon and I attended a wedding in Westford, MA for Jons fraternity brother Jamie and his lovely new wife Michelle. We had an excellent time and it was nice to have some downtime and enjoy our friend's that we hadn't seen in quite some time!!

We are finally back!!!
Brady, Nathan and I are finally back from our long road trip and it was so much fun. We embarked on our journey to Delaware early Thursday morning, October 4Th and it took us 10 hours to get there! That may sound long, but with two babies I thought we made great time. We only had to stop 3 times to feed and diaper and one stop was for an hour in Connecticut at Nana and Grampy's house. The boys did wonderful in the car and only fussed a couple of times, my mom and I were very lucky! We enjoyed a week long visit with my Grandmother, Aunt and Uncle! We started the week trying to get acclimated to the house and the HEAT! I left Maine and I was sleeping in flannel sheets and when we got to Delaware they were having a heat wave 90 plus degrees for most of the week! It was brutal! Some may ask, doesn't your Grandmother have Central Air? Well yes she does, but as you get older you are cold all the time, so it didn't get turned up very high, oh well! The boys spent most of their week in onesies alone!
The first weekend that we were there my dear friend Kim came for a visit with her beautiful daughter, Sidra! Oh it was so great to finally meet her and it was such a joy to be able to spend the day with the two of them. We just spent the day playing with the kiddos and catching up! It is times like this that I wish all my friend lived close by, especially now that we all have kids!!
After the weekend was over we settled into our usual routine, naps etc. We also enjoyed many nights out and yummy dinner's in (Thank you Sambo's in Leipseic for some amazing crab cakes) All in all it was a wonderful time spent in Delaware and I am so glad we were able to go!
After Delaware we drove to New Jersey for the weekend for my cousin Tony's wedding. It was great to see my dad's side of the family, but with weddings things happen so quickly we really didn't get to spend as much quality time as I would have liked. We got up early Sunday to drive to CT for the night and we finally made our way home today Monday October 15Th, Home Sweet Home!
I also want to send out a special Happy Belated birthday to Corey, I didn't forget and Happy Anniversary!!

Swimming Lessons
Well this might not be Nathan and Brady, but boy did they enjoy swimming lessons! We are taking lessons at St. Joseph's College of Maine and they are in the Quackers level. It is 30 minutes of singing and splashing. They both got into the pool without a peep, I thought for sure Brady might let out a little bit of a cry from the cooler water, but he was a trooper. We even were able to try dunking them under water, Nathan sneezed after coming up and Brady cried a tiny bit after the shock and he held right on to his Daddy. Overall it was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to next week!

Nathan and Brady's 9 month check-up
Nathan and Brady had their 9 month check-up today and I was happy that they didn't receive any immunizations at this appointment.
Vital Stats:
Nathan-
Weight- 22lbs and 13oz
Length- 28 inches
Head Circumfrence- 18 1/2"
Brady-
Weight- 21lbs and 14oz
Length- 28 inches
Head Circumfrence- 18 1/2"
The boys are doing great! They are exactly the same length and their head's are the same size. They are in the 80th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height. The Dr. was really happy with how they are progressing. They do have to start on some flouride drops because we are on well water and it doesn't contain flouride. I have started introducing them to some food other than baby food, thanks to Lisa Travis's encouragement. We have started toast in the morning, which they enjoy. I have tried some pinto beans and I introduced some cottage cheese, but they didn't like that very much. I am going to have to buy the small curd because that is the part they spit out. We also tried some American Cheese yesterday at lunch and they really liked that too! They are getting a full set of teeth; Brady has his top 2 and bottom 2 and Nathan has his top 4 and bottom 2. Anyway that is all for now!!

State to State Playdate!
Yesterday Nathan, Brady and I drove to Winchester, MA to have a play date with my longtime friend Gretchen and her two boys Thomas and Jack. We were also joined by another longtime friend Elizabeth and her twins, Hannah and Jack and her newborn son, Nathaniel. Yes you count them, 7 kids under the age of 3.
We headed out around 8:30 and arrived at 10:30, Nathan and Brady slept the entire way, which was great since it was their nap time. When we arrived we did a lot of playing inside with all the kids and I did a lot of chasing around. After lunch we headed outside to enjoy the beautiful day and the girls even had a chance to have an afternoon cup of coffee. It was a lot of fun and we look forward to many more play dates!!
